NOTE: New personalized characters ( SURF' 'WAVE', etc) for any specialty license plate can only be obtained directly from DMV and cannot be ordered through this service. However, you can use your existing personalization, provided it is 5 or less characters, when you switch to the 'Endless Summer' plate. (The state charges an additional fee of $15.00 per year in addition to all other annual taxes and fees).

If you are purchasing an 'Endless Summer' tag for the first time and your vehicle registration renewal is not due in the next three months, select this option and get the tag delivered to you.

If your annual vehicle registration renewal is due in the next three months and you are purchasing the 'Endless Summer' tag for the first time, select one of the options below to renew your registration and get the tag delivered to you.

Surfing’s Evolution & Preservation Foundation has sponsored and received approval for the creation of Florida’s Endless Summer® specialty license plate. The purpose of the Endless Summer® specialty license plate is to serve as one of the funding sources for Surfing’s Evolution & Preservation. Funds will be used for programs which will include educating the general public regarding the history of surfing as a sport and as a recreational activity; providing support for lifeguards at high risk beaches to aid in the protection of the public who utilize such beaches; providing support for environmentally friendly activities; providing educational programs, including publication of articles and hosting and supporting forums and events; and for developing and supporting activities designed to assist in preserving and protecting the shoreline and the delicate ecosystems residing therein.
