Proceeds from the annual sale and renewal of the Jacksonville Jaguars license tag benefit the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation and the Florida Sports Foundation Major & Regional Grant Program. 10% of each tag sale is donated to the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation. Since the debut of the license tag, the program has generated more than $485,000 for the Jaguars Foundation. Believing the youth represent the future of the community, the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation is committed to serving the greater Jacksonville area through strategic financial, networking, and volunteer support benefitting economically and socially disadvantaged youth and families. "By building upon our city's strengths, we seek to realize the positive potential of our young people in need. In doing so, we aim to serve as a model to other sports franchises." 80% of the proceeds generated from the sale of the Jacksonville Jaguars license tag are designated for the Florida Sports Foundation Major & Regional Grant Programs. The grant programs provide support to Florida’s communities hosting sporting events that generate significant out-of-state impact in their area, including Jacksonville and the surrounding area. |
