The Protect Our Reefs license plate, benefiting Mote Marine Laboratory, provides crucial funding for coral reef restoration, research, education, and protection in Florida. 100 % of the $25 plate fee goes directly to Mote Marine Laboratory and has generated nearly $6.5 million dollars since 2004 for the conservation and rebuilding of our reef systems.
