Once a Gift Certificate or specialty plate transaction is processed, the annual use fee for the chosen specialty license plate is given to the the sponsoring organization responsible for the plate, as specified by Florida Statutes.
Therefore, NO REFUNDS are available once purchased.
Recipients of Gift Certificates cannot transfer, assign, redeem for cash, refund, exchange or apply the Gift Certificate against any other vehicle registration fee not designated in the Gift Certificate description.
The Gift Certificate can only be applied to the specific specialty license plate that is designated by the Purchaser.
No refund or exchange will be issued even if the chosen specialty license plate becomes de-authorized before the gift certificate voucher is used.
